A favorite installation artist, www.xmarkjenkinsx.com, touches our mundane lives with unexpected doses of humor encapsulated in figures created with packing tape. Dropped into street scenes his tape figures challenge us to live in the moment, pay attention, and to appreciate the expected, beautiful side of life. I find his babies project to be particularly delightful. Installing internationally, his work transcends all language and cultural barriers. He teaches his tape casting techniques in cities he visits.
